As first-time homebuyers, we had a lot to learn going in, and we were all over the map in terms of knowing what we wanted. Tim was very patient with us throughout the process, listening closely to our often paradoxical wishes and going with us to endless (50+?) open houses. He was always very responsive in his communication (even on Saturday nights) and made us feel calmer throughout a potentially stressful process. We had our baby with us the whole time and Tim was an excellent babysitter too. We felt confident that TIm had our best interests in mind throughout the process. He shared a suggestion that saved us several thousand dollars in closing costs, even though it meant less money for him. He even came to our new house at the drop of a hat when we had some landscaping and irrigation questions that came up weeks after we closed. This is the second time I've used Tim Johnson to buy a house. The first time around, he helped me find a condo that was a great value. Tim helped me with the negotiation and I got a great deal. Tim sold that condo and I used the proceeds to get into a larger place. Tim selected a great inspector and ran all of the logistics and negotiations in order to get the place "right". Through the process, Tim took the time to understand what I was looking for and was patient with me as I searched for the perfect home. In the end, the new place took some work and time to sort out the various repairs, but I'm very happy with the end result.

As an aside, Tim utilized technology like docusign. This really streamlined the process.

We could not have bought this house without Tim's help. He was there with us every step of the way explaining what our options were. When we looked at houses he knew what was easy to fix, and what would be a big renovation project.
We looked for about 3 months before we found our house. We were on the low-end side of the housing market so it was difficult to find something in our budget. Tim kept finding new places for us and kept us looking. After we got into escrow, he lined up a house inspector and then when we needed it mold, radon, termite specialists to make sure we had full knowledge before releasing contingencies. He also knows many good handy men and contractors in town to get repairs made quickly before moving in.
